AUTIQUE is not a marketplace. It is a collection — few cars, each fully told. A car doesn't enter because its owner wants to sell. It enters because it passed.
Three principles. One absolute rule.
Condition. Not age.
We don't reject a car for its year. A 30-year-old car in exceptional condition is welcome. A 2-year-old car that hides its history is not.
The inspection decides.
There is no pre-written rejection list. Every car is judged as a case — by evidence, not opinion.
Full disclosure.
Every defect we find is published. An owner who refuses to disclose the truth about their car is refused — regardless of the car.
Two stages. No shortcuts.
Internal screening.
Our own technician examines the car first. Most rejections happen here.
Independent inspection.
Cars that pass screening go to an independent, specialist inspection centre. The report is issued in the centre's name — not ours. We publish it in full.
The order never changes.
